Poznámka: PCI karty, resp. použitý chipset, jsou nativně podporovány v Linuxu od jádra verze 2.4 bez podpory automatického řízení RS-485. Tuto podporu však lze doplnit modifikací ACR registru v 8250.c.
Poznámka: Karty řady PCI-681/685 využívají systémovou podporu a nevyžadují žádný driver.
